The Best Stunt Scooters Under 100 Pounds
When we wrote this article all scooters WERE under 100. We apologise if the current price might be higher. (Blame the invisible hand of the market, not us!)
|4||Fox Pro RAW Zest|
|2||Nextsport Fuzion Pro X3|
# 4 – Fox Pro RAW Zest Scooter
The Fox Pro Raw Zest, we consider great value for money. It delivers a smooth ride and is built with sturdy materials which makes it very endurable for mad stunts at the skatepark. However that durability comes at a price. The paint and the design get chipped pretty easily and after a half days of stunting and riding our brand new scooter looked like it was 10 years old. Also the clamp did not satisfy our stunting needs and we instantly went looking for a replacement.. (full review here)
- Smooth ride
- Looks amazing
- Sturdy build
- Clamp needs improving
- Chips easily
Value For Money
This stunt scooter delivers great quality for a lower price. However it has some downsides and we can’t consider this the top purchase of the list. Still the Fox Pro can deliver years of excitment on the ramps.
# 3 – Razor Beast Scooter
Razor is a leading brand in the stunt scooter scene. They have many different versions of their vision on a stunt scooter. The Beast is indeed a good looking and smooth scooter. Like all other leading brands it is a sturdy scooter and delivers a fast ride. Still the good looking grip tape can get loose pretty easily and after some time our front wheel didn’t line out with the rest of the scooter. These minor setbacks makes it lose some points on this list. Should we be afraid of the Beast? No, this stunt scooter is a beast but not THE beast. (full review here)
- Smooth & fast ride
- Awesome grip tape design
- Easy to assemble
- Grip tape can get loose
- Front wheel can get out of line
Value For Money
The Razor Beast is a good scooter but has some minor drawbacks. If you believe in a quality and sturdiness, you can’t go wrong with this scooter. For us the Razor is a great start up model.
# 2 – Nextsport Fuzion Pro X3 Scooter
We can’t believe what Nextsport delivered on this stunt scooter. The high end materials used on this beauty are a winner and at a lower price. Call it a win-win. When it comes to sturdiness this stunt scooter beats all the other ones in this list. Heck we even tried to damage it more but it could even withstand our crazy tear and wear. But it is still not our top scooter of the list. After some time we noticed we had some issues with the brake and it was very hard to adjust it to our liking. Which is indeed a shame on such a great stunt scooter. (full review here)
- Beats the competition in sturdiness
- Lightweight aluminum deck
- Flat deck bottom for grinding
- Great children’s scooter
- Hard to adjust the brake
Value For Money
We especially recommend this masterpiece to parents with young children. The Fuzion Pro X3 is totally geared towards beginners and youngsters who want to get their first taste of skate parks. This scooter represents awesome value for money! To bad the brake system needs some improvent or this thing would made top of the list.
# 1 – Slamm Mischief Scooter
Slamm makes great scooters and now they deliver us the Mischief. This orange beauty can take a serious amount of punishment while being a mischief at the skatepark. It has THE best grips of all scooters on this list and that fork is truely a masterpiece. This scooter feels and looks like the higher end competition on the market. And for sure this is a winner in all aspects. It does have some minor issues with the brake and the handlebars might be to high for some children but the feel and look of this stunt scooter make you forgot these setbacks. If you are thinking of becoming a pro rider, the Slamm Mischief is the scooter model you need. A winner in all aspects. (full review here)
- Soft and easy grips
- Nice and steady fork
- Quality materials used
- High end scooter at lower price
- Handlebars are tall for children
- Lower quality brake
Value For Money
Although it is the higher priced one of the list, it is actually the best one. It is a pure winner in this price range and you can buy this model with your eyes shut. A million thumbs up for Slamm Scooters.
- 17" x 22.5" Oversized one piece bars
- Neco threadless semi sealed headset
- One piece punched steel fork with custom IHC compression system
In this price range the choice to make is pretty obvious but depends on your personal taste. If you are really into this sport, the number 1 is your pick. If you are a beginner, take some time to read our full reviews and pick what suits you best. Don’t fear, all these stunt scooters are great quality products so you can’t go wrong.
